Homes for Scotland Award Winners

Headon are delighted to have been awarded Development of the Year (under 25 units) for their development at 22 Lade Braes. The award was received as part of the Homes for Scotland 2023 awards hosted on Friday 26th May.

The award recognises the quality, consideration, sustainability, design and customer journey which was integral to the development at Lade Braes. Turning the site into 8 outstanding modern apartments tailored to our customers needs. The project proved testing, with significant engineering work, complex build programmes, and the backdrop of Covid-19; however, the hard work and dedication of the team was central to delivering the award-winning build.

The awards were organised by Homes for Scotland, and hosted by the incredibly entertaining Rory Bremner with attendance from over 1000 people from across the industry - it was a fantastic afternoon. Competition for the awards was strong, and a thorough judging process was conducted involving site tours, meeting homeowners and interviewing the team about the project and ethos of Headon. Making the award even more appreciated.

Joe, Ross and Hannah-Jane attended from Headon, with a table of family, friends and collaborators. Unfortunately unable to attend were Pat and Louise, but a whole team celebration will be organised in due course.

22 Lade Braes is also currently nominated in the Scottish Design Awards 2023 in the Architecture: Residential - Multi Unit category. Also nominated at the same awards is St Andrews West in the Masterplanning category, with winners announced on the 29th June. Hopefully providing even more reasons to celebrate again soon.
