Homes For Scotland Finalists

Headon Developments are delighted that their development at "The Green" Strathkinness has been selected as a finalist in the Homes For Scotland annual awards 2013. The development was entered in the Best Development (small) category. The awards attracted 87 entries over a number of award category's.

Commenting on the inclusion in the short list Joe Headon managing director of Headon Developments said that he was delighted that The Green is a finalist in the awards. Our vision for this sensitive site within the centre of the village is being realized and whilst we have always considered the design approach to be something special it is very rewarding that the judging panel for this years Homes for Scotland awards also consider the site to be worthy of a place in the final.

We have remained true to the ethos within the company to produce high quality homes pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. The design approach for The Green ensures the development integrates into the existing village, the provision of a large public open space improved parking and crossing facilities for the school and community combined with the use of high quality finishes such as natural stone are all key features that enhance this site.

The overall winners will be selected at the Homes For Scotland annual lunch on the Friday 17th May.
